PC Gaming

Im looking to buy a PC gaming Rig (to play the pc only games), I looked up Alienware as I heard good stuff about them but after seeing the reviews (despite them being mostly positive) I didnt like the negative reviews as they seemed to all have similar reasons not to pick one up, So to the point, Does anyone have any recommendations on any systems or online specialists that I can look at?

www.overclockers.co.uk

It would be a bit cheaper to build your own but I like the idea of a build warranty on top of the manufacturers warranty. I got mine from overclockers, very impressed with it.

Re: PC Gaming

Either build one yourself or get a custom built one.

You can get custom built ones from sites like this - http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/

Re: PC Gaming

I'd recommend building it yourself, however if you want a pre-built then I suggest.http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/

Re: PC Gaming

If ya want to build it yourself then I highly recommend this site:

http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/parts/partlist/

You can choose all your components and the website shows you price results for various websites and stores, including benchmark ratings etc.

Which makes it a great place to get the best price for the best value of what you are looking for.

Re: PC Gaming

Don't buy Alienware, overpriced for what you get.

Overclockers, Novatech, Scan, Chillblast and Cougar Extreme (bought a custom PC from them myself) are the sites I'd look to if you were looking to get a custom built PC, although I'd recommend building it yourself if you're up to it to get the best machine possible.

Re: PC Gaming

If you're gonna build it yourself then this might be helpful: http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/p/7GQY

I was putting together a build for a family member and thats just a rough idea of what you wanna be looking at (you can 'slim it down'
