Re: PC Support Available Here

I could probably share my expertise. I am currently training for MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) and RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer). Built all my own systems bla bla bla. Know some hardware points, and know Software quite well, best at networking :smileyvery-happy: Right so i dont use Ubuntu a lot, as im only starting my Red Hat training but try Re-installing it, it worked when i had to install Red Hat for the 5th time! Sometimes the drivers for the motherboard might be for Windows only but thats a rare case. BTW for you other Support guys here, do you use VMWare? Its the better way to offer Support.

Re: PC Support Available Here

we have this old windows xp computer that likes to crash allot. Say for instance i opened my programs and go crazy with my mouse (no clicking) it would freeze. I have searced thoughly for adware, spyware and viruses and nothing. Even having a system restore does nothing. When we install the OS (again) it still makes no difference. You cant get anything done at all.

anyone?

Re: PC Support Available Here

anyone? This is probably due to insufficient RAM. Windows XP needs at least 256MB to run well (and thats SLOW!) If not that then maybe its your CPU cant handle XP. Your best bet? Revert that PC to Windows 2000. Runs really well.

Re: PC Support Available Here

You ever try to system restore to the point when this error didn't come up?

I'm still at in the office! (That's right we don't work form home! :smileysad: ) I'll restore it later and update tomorrow.
