Yep Linux is the way to go mate. The possibilities there are endless. Thats why im getting into Red Hat. It pays for Red Hat but Ubuntu is completely free i think

i have a problem!!!!!!!!! i reinstalled windows on my pc to make it run faster. after installing it registered fine now when the automatic update program is launched it downloads the updates, the tries to install them, it then tells me that they failed to install. i have serched the internet for a solution many times but i havent found any. the only thing i can do is download the updates manually and install them manually. any ideas???

I'd say either Red Hat or Ubuntu. I've just requested for 3 install CDs of Ubuntu, for free!

I might go for red hat, WINE seems to run some windows programs and this will be handy for me. umm anyone help me download these?
