If the SEN is just for the accounts, not the PSN itself, they are probably just harmonising all our accounts into one big pile, and allowing us to use them for various networks they have.

Ive rarely heard anyone ever mention PSN or Xbox live when talking in conversation about online gaming. Generally its just the game name, playing online, and then the console.

Never heard anyone say "Im going on PSN to play some games" Or "Im going on live to play HALO".

The name never really comes up anyway, Its like saying saying "Im going to walk on the pavement in the highstreet, enter into various stores before exchanging money for goods and services".

Flowing conversation never goes like that.

I was using a generalization. I acutally say to my friends something like dling it on xbl or psn. Or Ill say to someone you should get on live or psn. i would tell them that probally from a computer so I can talk to them.

So PSN updated and would you look at that it's still called PSN. Why can't websites report news correctly the only one I've seen do it was IGN.

Yeah I've been stressing all along that PSN will remain as PSN. How else would you determine what you are doing on the 'Sony Entertainment Network' which includes Music Unlimited and Films unlimited and all of these can be acessed through a wide range of products like PS3's, TV's, smart phones and laptops.

''Oh are you on SEN tonight?''

''Yeah I'm watching Bad Boys on my laptop''

SEN is a family of Sony digital applications. Underneath SEN you have PSN (PlayStation Network where you play online and download games..
