Why can't we have animated avatars like on the xbox, or if that idea is copyright of Microsoft why not Dynamic Avatars,

and why can't we earn avatars for playing games or earning trophies the way xbox users get game pictures and avatar items.

Who here would like to see something along the lines of the Xbox avatar or a dynamic game pic avatar on the Playstation?

and would you like to be able to unlock certain avatars for playing a game or getting a certain trophy?

I'm talking about an actual Avatar that represents you on the menu screen.

theres probably a million reasons why we havent got anything like this.

though id agree with Elf and say one way they could take a step in the right direction is by somehow letting you use your Home avatar as a static XMB avatar.

I guess it depends on whether people want this to look even more like a childrens' play group than it does already.

it would be epic if we could use a photo also i like ur idea of unlocking avatars sounds like somethink they should consider

I do agree with the idea of having animated avatars because it would add life to avatars but it could destroy framerate(and be annoying) seeing all your friends with animated avatars.

obviously they would be still during gameplay though
