Re: Predicted Grades

Yeah I've been around a few of the Scottish Uni's........Strathclyde looks like a Eastern European warzone from outside.

That's Sheepboy's fault.

Then again, so does Lancaster. Has sheepy been there too?!

Re: Predicted Grades

Are you joking tender? The business department in strath is top notch, its a pity they get so much money, our department cant even afford equipment that isnt 30 years old, business school gets 4 flat screen tv's for its lobby.

Re: Predicted Grades

I'm only in year 11 but being prediced A*s for almost everything, and As for those few (RE and English) that i am not as good at. surprisingly if i took GCSE PE i would have been predicted an A* (for those that dont know i'm overweight, and can barely do the 100 metres without dying). Whayt makes it bad is that we have had 2 new head of departments for science and english. and just because they are awkward b@stards they decided to change the exam board after our first year. So now for english almost all of our coursework from last year was chucked away and we have to do 2 yeas worth of work in just 3/4 a year. As for science we know all about what is happening. Apparently som of us can "bank" our grades from last year and ony have to do an end of year terminal for this year's work but now none of us can "bank". unfair for me and the two of my friends who got top ten in the country last year as well as for everyone else who has to do the 2 terminals at the end of the year. Annoying ecause i now have to revise last years topics and for someone who doesn't do much in terms of revising i will probably fail and say goodbye that top ten in the country title. We're also at the stage where teachers are forcing us to take certain subjects for A levels. Obviously that means i have little to choose other than all 3 sciences and some form of higher maths, which will of course go to IT. I also have to try to get into a decent sixth form because my school's one is, put bluntly, ****e. Unfortunately i missed the open evening to the sicth form i want to go to and so geting a place there may be harder than it should be, (well a science specialist school will not refuse one of the top ten scientists out of both last year's year 10s and year 11's when they themselves have not had a student to pass as one of the top ten.

Re: Predicted Grades

God damn it, I have absolutely no idea what I want to do for a career or for University or anything. I currently do AS Maths, AS English Language and a BTEC National Certificate in ICT and so far I'm keeping on top of things, just. But University scares the crap out of me. I have no idea about it, what I want to do in it, and what's worse is that we're supposed to apply a full year in advance! What if I haven't decided or anything by then? *Melts down*

Re: Predicted Grades

Well i got 98% in a maths test today, and 100% in the last one. I'm gonna pwn my maths A level. As well as my physics. But english may well be the death of me. I've had A D- and C+ for the last 2 homeworks i've done. But i'm dropping that at the end of the AS. Economics should be 'aight. I'm prolly gonna study a finance and business course at Uni, but i'm not sure as to which one to go to.
