Hi everyone I'm a 15 year old boy and I just want to know what happened. Okay I'm the the best at pe I'm in fact the "looser" anyway we had to do a full lap around our huge field so I faced the "cool kids" and I ran so fast it was like I'm sonic the teachers were shocked but when i got near the finish line (1st) my legs just dropped dead like gravity pushed me down I got back up and fell again I got up and walked to the finish line. I honestly could not walk propelly like my legs have stopped working. I just want to know what happened to my body to cause my legs to fail and me to collapse and get laughed at any answers would be great and tips to avoid it again thanks.
Convert to Islam - then if it happens again you can just pretend that you're praying.
But seriously it sounds like you just pushed your body far harder than it was ready for. You sometimes see similar things with marathon runners that push themselves too hard. If you are generally unfit that is the most likely cause, and getting fit would be the solution.
*All my spelling and grammar mistakes are on purpose.
I got a B in GCSE French!
I got a D
I hated that subject with a passion but was more or less forced to do it.
too fast too soon young sir!
the teachers were probly shocked at why you were going so fast to start, theres a big difference between a hundred metre sprint to a full lap of a huge field.
you wil know for next time though, just pace yourself, stay with the field then go as fast as possible near the end
It means you ran to fast at the beggining of the race trying to go faster lol.
