The second someone even produces a weapon, let alone threatens me with it, I would consider myself to be under a life threatening attack. I wouldnt wait until claret is spurting out of someones neck before reacting to it.
Did i say dont defend yourself? there is a difference between defending yourself and chasing a fleeing man and then beating him with a gang just cause he waved a silly chainsaw in the air, did he even injure anyone?
Also, they all waited until he was fleeing before attacking him, when they thought he was attacking they ran like cowards..
When they realised he wasnt a real threat, and hadnt hurt anyone, and was just trying to scare them, they ran after him to beat him.
If you watch properly, you will see that people do attack him soon after he walks in, what happens outside is continued from that, a few brave people stood up and the rest joined in afterwards.
He had a chainsaw, had waved it aggressively at people. He was a threat to anybody and everybody he encountered that night.
