Why do domesticated cats, especially naughty torties howl loudly & continuously & usually late at night.
Our particularly naughty tortie cat called Lucy (AKA Lucilla as in GODZILLA!) likes to do this when one or both of us is/are asleep &/or watching our favourite TV programme/s.
She likes to howl loudly during her presentation, (mostly to SWTSMBOAAT, but sometimes apparently I'll do, when SWTSMBOAAT is absent!) of either her small furry leopard spotted ball or red furry dice!
We would like to know, what the hell is she is on about!
Is it a gift, because she loves SWTSMBOAAT?
Is it a criticism or reminder of some enormous transgretion that one or both of us have committed?
Is she purely an ASF (Attention Seeking Feline) or possibly just completely & utterly out of her (please apply THE only appropriate expletive) tree?

No idea what SWTSMBOAAT is but if a cat is howling then there is normally a valid logical reason.
You fed the cat lately? Perhaps it's hungry.
Perhaps what you are watching has the sound of birds\mice\other cats that is getting it's attention.
Maybe your cat is horny and want's to go outside.
You get my drift. Cats are clever creatures, so if the cat has resorted to howling to get your attention then there will be a good reason for it. Try Googling or visiting pet or vet forums or something if you are really concerned ![]()
Lovely looking cat though. I love Tortoiseshell cats.

Really? Because the only thing that comes up for me are your posts.
Sure you've not just spelt it wrong?
