Re: Samsung Galaxy S3

Probably getting this phone myself on the 19th when I have enough money to get it. It was a choice between that and the iPhone 4S, and I decided the S III has a lot of features that I need right now, that the 4S doesn't. Android is also a lot more customisable.

Yeah I MIGHT regret it when the iPhone 5 comes out, but it's not out yet, so I need a good phone in the mean time.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3

Anyone else with this phone having an issue with Facebook? Everytime my dad tries to post a status update with it, it gives him an error message.

[ Edited ]

Yeah it's the official app.

He's tried reinstalling and stuff, and still the same message.

When he tries posting, it gives a white screen, then a black screen, and then a message "Unfortunately, Facebook has stopped" with the option to 'Report' or 'OK'

He's tried reporting, and clicks OK sometimes too, so we don't know if it's an issue with Facebook, or his network or phone or something.

I've looked all over Google, and nothing seems to have come up, so it's hard to tell whether it's a common problem or not.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3

That error means the app is crashing.

There can be a number of options for it, the main cause is in menu >> settings >> scroll down to developer options and then see if "Dont keep activities" is checked, if it is uncheck it, if its not that youll have to uninstall, turn the phone off, turn it back on and reinstall.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S3

I dunno if it's that, since he has no problem with Facebook, with posting pictures and stuff, other than the posting status'.

I'll tell him to try this when he's up in the morning, since he's gone to bed now. Old git xD Cheers for the help Fen.
