Re: Say goodbye to TPB, UK

I buy tonnes of movies and boxsets after downloading them.

If I know I'm going to watch something again or I enjoyed it I'll buy it on blu-ray. If it's a load of crap like Captain America I won't bother tbh.

Re: Say goodbye to TPB, UK

Captain America is awful tbh, no one should pay for that film.

I have seen films and never really intended to watch them again but thought they were brillaint so bought them just so they could have money and so they might make more like them.

For example I have James Cagney Boxset, I am unsure if you can pirate the films, seen them on tv and decided that I would buy them in the hopes that hollywood would take notice and make good films. Havent watched them.

See that's what I'm saying, that your "They cancel each other out, because I know they are all equal" is nonsense.

I neither said nor implied that.

That doesn't suggest that the two cancel each other out at all, simply that they reached opposing conclusions. And in context, that most people would have no objective means of determining which was actually correct. Or indeed whether they were even truly comparable.

I have white heat on DVD.

I dont think I have ever bought an english speaking film that I didn't see first. The sooner I see something the more money they can make out of me, cause it means I will be paying the higher release price and not watching it for free years later on dvr on tv.
