Ok, instant reaction for me is NOOOOOO WAY, I would need some convincing, in fact I don't think I would ever be convinced that this should be allowed.

A charity is launching the first study of sex in British prisons.

The Howard League for Penal Reform says it will spend two years looking at all elements of the issue, from consensual to coercive sex in jails.

The UK has a ban on conjugal visits for prisoners - although more than half of European countries allow them.

Although my first inclination would be no, I can see the sense in placating an already inherently violent environment and not making it worse, either for minor offender who may end up getting raped, or workers there.

The other alternative is to have persistent offenders and long termers castrated of course...

It seems pretty ridiculous to me that prison cells are defined as public places, considering the public don't have access to them (other than by being given a prison sentence).

Any woman or man who wants to have sex with someone in prison, should be taken into a room and irradiated to make them infertile.

Prison is punishment, if you continue a normal life on, then I dont see how its punishment at all. If you get raped then you shouldnt have broken the law. And prison guards should not be held accountable to unhappy priosners, they should beat them into a pulp.

I like prison sex too, I like the part when you lock somebody up and have sex with him/her.

I kinda disagree with this part. What if someone is in there for a small crime, do they deserve to get raped just for commiting that crime?

I however do believe that the paedos should get beaten up etc. Not sure if that makes me a bad person for thinking that.

No one deserves to get raped, my point is we all know its a possibility of breaking the law and going to prison.

This isnt America, rape in prison happens a lot less over here than it does in America.
