Soggy biscuit.

Does anyone else like to participate in the act of dipping their biscuit into their tea?

Well what did you think I meant? :SadWitch:

Re: Soggy biscuit.

yes, but is a precarious task, too much dipping and you are spooning it out from the bottom of the mug.

i find burbons or custard creams work well as the filling keeps the biscuits integrity.

I think you'll find that the extensive work conducted by Peter Kay in this area was pretty conclusive in defining the Hobnob as the best suited to the task.

I like chocolate covered digestives, or rich tea. Once at work I was dipping a kitkat in my tea and some bloke got really upset about it "argh dipping chocolate is wrong"

Re: Soggy biscuit.

If i've got a cup of tea to hand, I can easily demolish a double pack of Bourbons or Custard Creams via dunking. I may feel like chucking afterwards though.

Re: Soggy biscuit.

this topic convinced me to break out some Rich Teas. though my teethies cant handle hot drink and chocolate too well, so have to avoid the more yummy types of biscuits 8(. dunking kitkats would be a no go for sure.

There the worst kind of breakable-soft biscuits you could dunk. Chocolate is also bad cos' you get it around the rim of the cup, all over your fingers and around your mouth. Custard creams or bourbons are better for dunking; but not in tea though... in Coffee.

The views expressed within this post features my own perspective opinion and If you want to raise concerns about it, message me and I'll do my best to rectify my mistakes.

I participate in biscuit dipping, but I hate it when you leave a chocolate biscuit in your tea for too long and it melts and falls to the bottom and forms a chocolatly sludge at the bottom of the mug.
