[ Edited ]

I have to side with Mrs Partan here, I myself got the update and ever since strange things have been happening.
Once in days gone by my flow was very regular, I could even put it down to the hour, but since that wicked update my cycle has been out by over 16 hrs, coincidence? I think not!

Another strange thing happened just two days ago also,
I went to the shop and bought a carton of orange juice which was marked up at 99p, I gave the lady two 50p pieces and walked off with my change. When I got home I put my hand into my pocket grabbing my change only to see instead of a penny it was an American cent!
Something's going on here and Sony need to fix it, pronto.

I leave it to you fine people, is the update truly evil or is it just a matter of coincidence?

Re: Sony should "revert" Update 4.10.

I've not problems myself, so I put it down to sheer coincidence. As for things going strange, I'm sure I've seen my ginger and white cat outside, but when I opened the door it was just a piece of wood laying there. same again happened when I was upstairs; I thought my cat was outside the window, but when I opened it, there was just a branch of a tree.... now that's strange. :smileyindifferent:

I'd suggest that you read this guide:

http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/PlayStation-3-Technical/FAQ-Blu-Ray-Drive-Fail/m-p/10675213#M...

See if it'll solve your issue, worst case you'll have to send it in for repair.

In all honesty, mrsspartan. You probably just had bad luck and an error ocurred somewhere during the update. I think you can redo the update by downloading the update to a memory stick and then going to the ps3 help screen by turning off the ps3, then turning it back on but leave the power button held down until it beeps 3 times. There's 5 options, one of them should be to re-

Can anyone confirm/elaborate on the above point?
