Hey guys,

I know I've sort of neglected you all by not paying you a visit in a while, but I'll make it up to you with left over christmas biscuits and cheese, honest!

aaaanyway, sad news! somebody's stolen my crappy little Steam account, so I can no longer waste my life playing FM2012 I have sent a form(or whatever they're called) off to Steam... I'm just wondering how long I have to wait to get my account back?

I suppose the longer the better in the long run since my A-Level's are coming up but hey, being an imaginary football manager > any job I'll ever get.

I don't know how long it takes, but how the hell did they get your account?

I assume you had Steam Guard turned on? Did they get into your email as well?

Seriously for a moment have you contacted steam support?

I'm not sure, I never actually used Steam really... just as a program for me to play FM2012.
I don't think they're in my e-mail, or any other accounts, but they did change my password and e-mail account for Steam.

I have submitted a ticket to Steam support, so hopefully it won't take too long.

Wait for Steam to report back, then turn on Steam guard when you're back in, which makes it so you have to verify via e-mail whenever a new computer logs into your Steam account.

Steam support is usually fairly quick for myself.

did you send proof of account fm2012 serial + card ypu may of used? speeds process up quicker, took me 2 days to get pass reseted

I did send a photo of the key, next to a screen with my username written on it to prove it's me so...
