Surely the last of the crimbo threads.....

Since everything else seems to be covered, what are you having for lunch and has anyone got any recipes to share?

Traditional dinners all round or something more exotic?

Yes, but if I were to go into detail you would only delete it and then maybe ban me. PM me if you want all the hot details, I have picture too of the evening.

Yea I think it's best we avoid images of birds being shot and heads chopped off etc

Corpses, operations, mutilations, deformities, wounds and even diseases that are designed to shock, repulse, distress or offend will indeed most likely mean you will get a forum ban.

We don't want to put Shanethegooner off his lunch now do we?

Although I was watching a program other day with James Martin doing a 4 bird roast.  It was like filling up a pillow case made of bird skin or something.  Very strange, although yummy no doubt.

Rossy is so innocent xD

i can barely get through one turkey, let alone four smaller ones. also happy to go for the safe tradition meal, though am open to different ideas for a Christmas dinner. not pizza though.

Always had the traditional stuff in the past but never been a big fan of turkey really. Going for fillet of beef this year. We're quite the Christmas rebels in our house (we don't watch the Queen's speech either).

This year I may also try not to eat around four pounds of cashew nuts by lunch time, and wish that I hadn't :Scared:

Was I the only one who read the last word as "erotic"? :smileyindifferent:

We had 2 turducken breasts a few years ago, they weren't particularly impressive, they were a bit dry. We went back to the classic turkey the following year.
