I dont know who you know, but most bodybuilders have horseshoe triceps.

If youre talking about a bunch of kids you know, then maybe, I dunno.

As for it being important, I assume youre talking about it being a punching muscle and the bicep being a grabbing muscle. A large tricep only gives you an advantage when youre in a static position, as soon as you start to put your shoulders, your hips, your weight into a punch the tricep starts to lose its advantage.

boxers move their whole body into a punch, a superman punch is way more powerful than a normal punch for example and its because your bodyweight is fully placed on the punch. Brock lesnar has a massive punching force and he basically just swings his arms as a dead weight, although his triceps are huge.

to illustrate the point further, thai kick boxers use elbows instead of punching, and its so popular its one of the most devestating attacks in UFC, and that uses shoulder.

All in all its relative to your goal, if your goal is to be bruce lee in the past then you need small biceps, if your goal is to be the bruce lee of today, then its not as important as big bicep that can be used to snap someones arm off.

Fen is right on the strong vs muscley arms. I don't find really muscley men attractive but I like someone strong enough to sweep me up in his arms.
