The Retro Corner

After the many retro threads that I've seen being posted across the forums. I thought it'd be interesting to set up a main retro thread, for you all to discuss the old classic retro consoles.

If you have any old consoles lying around, take a few pictures of them and post them up here. Rarer the better :smileyhappy:

Also, what are your first memories of gaming?

Mine would be the classic Amiga 500. I used to love playing games like Superfrog, Wiz 'n' Liz, SWIV, Speedball 2, Chaos Engine etc. Great memories :smileyhappy:

What games/consoles did you like the best?

I'm looking forward to hearing all your gaming experiences.

My 1st console and one of my favourites is my N64. Quite decent graphics for its time. I got it about 10 years ago with 2 games and i've still got it with them two games

Re: The Retro Corner

Ive had just about everything thats electronic that capable of playing games over the course of my breif but uninteresting life.

My personaly favourites are (in no particular order) the A1200 miggy with a whopping 150 meg HD!!!!! - but that was only because i lusted after one while i was enojying my A500+. My old Speccy, its amazing how much fun can get out of 48K, and lastly, the (very) old Intellivision console because it had quite an advanced controller for the time - a directional disc instead of a d-pad, a keypad and (in effect) 2 shoulder buttons.
