[ Edited ]

I started out with the Sinclair Spectrum 128k in 1986/7 when they came out - a wopping 24 years ago when i was 9 getting on 10 lol :smileyvery-happy:

Manic Miner, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Horace Goes Skiing, Jet Pack, Chukie Egg, Skool Daze, Spy Hunter, Pole Position, Miami Vice, Turbo Esprit to name a few all played a big part of my introduction to the gaming world and still stick in my my mind now. So does the atrocious loading screen & times and it only having a few seconds left and then it crashes at the last minute doh! But it was all good fun and as kids and part of growing up.

Then came my Mega-Drive a few years later and what a step up that was!

Sonic the Headghogs what can i say??? From the music to the speed it was just amazing and i spent hours and hours playing through the levels. Streets of Rage, Ecco the Dolphin, Calafornia Games, Chase HQ, Columns, Double Dragon, Golden Axe, LHX Attack Chopper, Out Run, Road Rash and loads loads more i can't remember due to excitement lol. Happy days :smileyhappy:

Then my life totally change when this beast arrived and had the biggest impact on my life leaving the biggest footprint ever on my mind from its shere power at the time and its amazing games libary. It just brought so much enjoyment to my bedroom, more then i get now :smileysurprised: XD

I wont go into detail else i will never stop but i leave you with the

Mine would be the classic Amiga 500. I used to love playing games like Superfrog, Wiz 'n' Liz, SWIV, Speedball 2, Chaos Engine etc. Great memories

lol i first started out on the amiga 500, those games are great classics, i used to have crates full of floppy games for my amiga, also does anyone rember the ZX Spectrum? with the tapes that makes blips and blobs and takes an age to load, i rember getting so angry when my mates would touch the machine and make the cassete loading stop and i had to start again.

Re: The Retro Corner

I love commodore, it was conjured in a time when just the word "computer" was enough to make people go 'oooooh!'.

I mean, look at the box! Could you use the word computer any more emphatically?

COMPUTER!
