Quite a few people ask about these so this should keep all the queries in one place.

I'll start:

If i sign up for one of the online card things could i use it on the US iTunes Store so i can download the movies?

Or is there another way to download from the US Store?

And does anyone know when the UK iTunes Store will have movie downloads?

i dont know what "online card things" is so cant help you there

but if you mean a gift card then you have to get an american one which you can buy on ebay (prices range as there are $15/25/50 amounts on there)

as for movie downloads here....we are supposed to start getting that towards the end of year

The 'Online Card things' are the ones that you sign up to online (like a debit card) and people that don't trust online purchases don't have to give their bank details. I don't know how it works tbh but many people have used them. I just thought if i could do one of those i'd maybe be able to use it on the US iTunes Store :/

nah only way that i know if the ebay way ive done it loads of times and it works out cheaper buyin from the america store than it is here

So you actually buy the US iTunes Card off ebay? and it's worked for you loads?

Also when you download the movies, can you store and watch it on your PC? As many times as you like etc...? What are the limits?

I think im gonna have the iPod Touch for Christmas. I watched that video when the guy trys to scratch it with things, and me thinking it would be easy to scratch was what kept me from wanting it but its so cool. Has anyone on here got one?

I had a play around with one in the shop (if you've ever been to an Apple Store the freedom to use products is immense). Its very good and you can see the screen is special and very scratch resistant, i like the whole idea that different motions on the screen do different things. EG: pinch a photo to zoom and un-pinch to zoom in etc... Also: Junkyard, do the movies still work on UK iPods?

yeh ive done it at least 10 times (using the $ 15/25 gift cards) and i mainly use it on songs that are either not in the uk itunes or tv shows theres no limits you can watch it as many times as you want put it on any ipod its like buying from the uk itunes nothing is different that i can tell

i have an 30gb ipod video and my other half has the new 4gb nano and ive seen zero problems with either of them its like buying it from the uk store tbh

Also: Junkyard, do the movies still work on UK iPods?

i havent personally brought any of the movies off the site yet if tv shows work then i dont see movies being any different

I'm probably going to make a US account as i have an Aunt in the US (address) and as my debit card won't work for the US i've requested the use of my mothers Credit card

I'll do it tomorrow as i need sleep. If it works i'll tell you here.

any uk based cards will not work in the us itunes which is why the gift cards have become so popular

it should work ive done it all the time if you do plan to get a gift card just go for the $15 to play it safe

what ipod you got anyway?
