seems so. Rightly IMO some of the stuff he said was offensive (and I didn't see the stuff dom got upset about which sounds like it was as bad).

Perhaps he's learnt his lesson that 1. don't post that kind of stuff and 2. if you do and people don't like it - don't edit the post and pretend it never happened, apologise and hope people will accept it.

There are ways to air opinions, however contraversial they may be without resorting to name calling when people disagree. 

There are ways to disagree without it just turning into insult trading which results in bans all round. 

Simply saying "you are wrong and I think you are stupid" on it's own will not get you a ban, but responding to every post made by that person afterwards (regardless of content)  with that may be considered bullying.
