Hello Fellow Gamers

I am currently doing a research project on video games to go towards to my final college assignment and am looking for ten gamers to answer the following questions to help me finish my project. ALL information supplied will be treated in confidence and no names or ID's will be used. It's just the answers I need for my information. I would be eternally grateful if at least ten fellow gamers (UKJED1=>PSN. feel free to add) could respond. If you type question number followed by answer then that is adequate for my research. Thank you in advance if you do answer the questions.

2. If answered YES to question 1 then what is your favourite video game?

3. Do you agree or disagree that playing violent video games can create violent behaviour? Agree Disagree

4. Have you ever experienced aggression from other players whilst playing online? Yes No

5. Why do you play video games? (Choose One) Enjoy violence----To Relax----To beat boredom---Other (Please state).

The newest one usually, or if you want one specific one it would be Monster Hunter.

Disagree

Yes

5. Why do you play video games?

Escapism and I like to control my entertainment rather than "make do" with shoddy TV programmes.

WipEout 2048 - Best racing game on Vita so far

3. Do you agree or disagree that playing violent video games can create violent behaviour?

Disagree - Bad parenting creates violent behaviour. It's the same with pets. Treat someone poorly from a young age and they'll learn from it and do the same.

4. Have you ever experienced aggression from other players whilst playing online?

Yes - Only from stroppy kids who haven't been taught the art of manners, nor how to behave when talking to others. 

5. Why do you play video games?

Other - I play Games because they're a good way of making new friends online, they're enjoyable, and they're much more entertaining than reruns of Top Gear or Mock the Week.

Agree if the number of broken joypad threads is anything to go by

edit - Heavy Rain is my most favouritest game ever but Thw Witcher and The Witcher 2 come very close

3. Maybe not violent, but possibly more insensitive to violence?

Cheers for the feedback guys. Some of your answers were great, especially BettySwollocks lol. I agree asking if you play video games was a bit strange on here but I had to make questionnaire accessible to non gamers too. Once again many thanks and happy gaming !

is it like royalties?
