I would like to know the parameters for these forums please - by that I mean the following:-

1. How many threads can you have at any one time

a) In each forum?

b) over all of the forums?

2. How long can a thread be both in the length of the original post & also the number of replies associated with that post?  

3. Does the thread have to reach a solution? 

4. Is there a time duration for each thread?

If there is:-

a) Is it deleted or

b) Does it become one of those permanent ('stickys' is that the right term?) at the top of the first page of each Forum if it is deemed worthy enough?

5. I cannot think of any other parameters I might want to know at the moment, but please add some to this post if you can think of ones that I've not thought of (which is highly likely) that you would like to know; be it:-

(a) parameters which you wish existed that you know don't but wish they did, because of problems you've experienced asking questions or answering them and/or

(b) ones that may exist but I did not ask about them?

Why on earth do you want this information? Are you not going to post if it doesn't conform to spec? Are you making your own forum based on this one? Is this a really weak hacking attempt...?

b) over all of the forums? as many as you like, but there is flood detection that will block posts saying the same thing, there is also a spam limit that blocks you after a couple of hundred posts in an hour, i forget what the limit it, I think its 100 but it only seems to be placed on some people.

If there is:-

a) Is it deleted or - threads will be locked if they need to be, or deleted if they break the rules.

b) Does it become one of those permanent ('stickys' is that the right term?) at the top of the first page of each Forum if it is deemed worthy enough? normally they are not "worthy" simply recurring threads made into one single thread and stickied to make things easier. For example might get lots of pc, xbox, broadband threads so one thread is made to hold them all.

5. I cannot think of any other parameters I might want to know at the moment, but please add some to this post if you can think of ones that I've not thought of (which is highly likely) that you would like to know; be it:-
