I just read Stephen Kings 11/22/63 and it got me thinking about going back in time. I don't want to ruin the book but in the story a doorway into September 1958 is found. You can go back to 1958 and spend as long as you want there.
Time continues so you could stay for a few years and live through the 1960's or even the 1970's but you will always return to the present two minutes after you left. What ever you do in the past changes history and can have positive or negative effects on the future when you return. The only catch is that once you leave the past and decide to go back, any changes you made previously are overwritten. So lets say you went back and carved your name into a tree and then returned to the present. Your name would be on the tree when you got back but would disappear if you returned the past again.
I was wondering what you would do if you went back in time to September 1958? Would you try and change history or would you get greedy and use it for personal gain?

do lots of hot 50's women.
then come back and realise youre your own dad or, er, grandad? all those hot 50s women would be old ladies now i guess.
id go back and order a pie with a fried egg on top.
pinpin, in the book, you can go back to 1958, stay until the 60s, jump back to the present and go back in time again and itll be 1958 again? wouldnt that then reset anything you did?
