Windows 7

Anyone got this yet?

I've just upgraded from Vista Home Premium. I bought the Windows 7 for £30 through Microsoft's Ultimate Steal program and I really like it.

Visually it's not a lot different to Vista but it does definitely seem a lot more efficient and my machine has sped up nicely since ditching the resource heavy Vista. Big thumbs up from me :smileyhappy:

Not only do I have the software, but I have a whole new certification, do I rocks or wotz?

Ok no I don't, but still, it's pretty swish, although it did display random porn while my inlaws were here last week (lucky for me they r cool)

Whoah it has a mind all of its own it's going to take over the world!!!!!!
It's the best OS since Win 98 imo. Easy to get to grips with and nice to look at as well. Not so sure the Windows Shake thing is anything more than a gimmick though, a cool one at that mind you.

A clean install is certainly recommended, so you will need to back all your files up (docs, pic, music, porn, etc)before installing windows 7...

Re: Windows 7

Hmm I was going to shell out for a netbook with W7 on it, but I decided to save like... 100quid and get one with XP on because it makes no difference to me, considering what I'm using this lil gem for...

You're giving me a headache...!

Is that where you get Windows 7 at a discounted price if you buy Windows Vista?
