Well the american government used to fund and arm the taliban, so.... I cant deny it flat out, it does not seem very plausable, but I cant rule it out.
Now if you told me that they came from America without the direct knowledge of the American military, just ammo bought from there through dodgy dealers in America who see nothing wrong with smuggling ammo to enemies of americas enemies, I would believe it in a heartbeat.
I would also believe in a heartbeat that the Iran military photoshopped it or put the boxes there. I mean it is convienient they come in the "made in usa" boxes lol.
But is america doing the old double bluff? "no one would think we are that dumb" lol...
Yeah I know they supplied the taliban and Osama Bin Laden to fight the Soviets.
Not saying I can't see the US Government supplying Iranian rebeles as I could easily imagine it. But they would cover their tracks using unmarked boxes and Russian factory stamps on them.
Easily understandable for them to be sold on the black market.
Or maybe its not a double bluff and they really are that stupid
They also supplied me with in my argument against my next door neighbor

Pfffft I have some of them.
The small fat pistol bullet on the right at the front is a .45 APC which I have ![]()
The majority of the rifle bullets look to be NATO 7.62x56 mm which I also have (pictured above).
Think the smaller bullets at the back are NATO 5.56mm which also have which are also pictured above.
Think the remaining ones are .357 magnum or a .38 special bottom left. That bullet in particular is nasty thing as it appears to be a hollow point. They expand as they travel making much higher damage but it won't (probably) pass straight through which is good news for the person standing behind you
However my .38 would go straight through as mines in a full metal jacket which is bad news for the person behind you ![]()
The one left of the shotgun shell look like Russian 7.62x39mm
One with the red tip looks like a NATO 7.62 tracer
Back left is probably a .50 BMG
The massive one is an artillery shell. That's cheating Hmmph. So is the hand grenade.

I can see the M1 clip your on about. But those to the right are not from an SA80 they are far to big. They look more like the .303 the bren gun used. There are a few tucked away at the back next to the "pom pom" that look smaller which could be the ones from the SA80 (NATO 5.56)
Edit: just seen the used round. Really hard to see
Yeah that look small enough to be 5.56. I though you were on about the bigger ones behind it. Guessing they are the same from the bren?
Edit: just seen your edit ![]()
