Re: any microsoft word experts?

Probably because they haven't downloaded the microsoft conversion tool, they are likely to be using 2003 or 2007.

Re: any microsoft word experts?

Save as, and use compatability mode. Should solve it, alternative: Save it as a PDF.

Re: any microsoft word experts?

Usually best to save in compatability mode if sending to a Company when you are not sure which version of office is in use - think it shows as office 97 type.

Re: any microsoft word experts?

Always best to choose the 'Save as' option, and save the file in a .doc format (Word 97-2003).
This is the most widely compatible format, and the best to use if you are sending a document to someone who is using an unknown version of Word.

print it out, take photos of it, and then email him the photos.

Why not save the trees, and take a photo of the screen and send that :smileytongue:

Exactly, also you get to recycle the paper so you get to feel good, taking a photo of a screen is just pure waste of electricity, no feel good at all.
