Re: commodore amiga cd32

It may be a piece of ***** now, but back when it was released, I worked in a game shop and people were clamoring to get it. But it was dead expensive and the Megadrive and SNES were already huge.
Why do you ask?

Four YLODs?? That's a bit much isn't it?.. Scratch that; now on 5. And no sign of my Dead Rising 2 or Wheels on the Bus discs yet either...

After reading this on wiki.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amiga_CD32

it seems to me that this was in essence, the ps3 of it's day. Better than all of it's competitors but overpriced, so not many could afford it. it's a shame really. Just imagine what commodore would've been developing today if the cd32 was a success. (also notice any similarities with the control pad. i wonder who Sony "borrowed" the basic design from. Shoulder buttons, dpad and 4 action buttons, Hmmmm)

FUN is the name of the game, not winning, that's just an added bonus. :smileyhappy:
