Everybody around you was probably pointing and laughing.

That was a little short sighted of you

My understanding is that if you miss a train through no fault of your own (ie your previous train was delayed), your ticket becomes valid for the next train that goes where you're going, regardless of the company.
I had a similar problem a few months ago: I had a ticket for a specific train as it was the cheapest one available. The train got cancelled and I was told that my ticket was vaild for the following train, despite it being an express train.

most tickets have a 24 hour expiry time but once that time is over or your ticket through the barrier its gone, its a lot different in London.

So the train came and I was at the front of que so I could get a good seat and the dwarf man got on the same train, it was a crowded train and only a few available seats left, he sat next to me, fair enough nothing wrong with that.
But it wasn't until we got into the next town where I got off when it started to feel creepy, I waited for the bus at the bus stop as I live in a village outside the main city, then in the distance I saw a man coming towards as he got closer and closer I realised he wasn't getting bigger then I realised who is was, he stood next to me at the bus stop , I tried so hard not to long down at him but I did.
The bus came, I got on first because I got there first then he got on, the bus fairly busy but enough spare seats for him to sit somehwere else, I sat down now the dwarf man could of sat anywhere but he decided to sit next to me, at this point I was getting freaked out because he was following me.
I got off at my stop and he got at the same stop, I started to walk faster because in my mind I was convinced he was following me, I was walking through a passage way coming up to my house, so I pretended I lived somewhere else incase he wanted to know where I lived and waited for him to walk pass so I could walk to mine without him seeing.
It could of been just a coincidence that he was going the same way and now I feel stupid for being freaked out, I'm 6ft4 I could of easily take him. Just wanted to share this
That made me
.
I think the fact you were freaked out went straight over his head. ![]()

If there are seats, it's not crowded
