I'd stay with the PS3 for the time being. I'm not sure why anyone would need two high def DVD players anyway. Plus you'll feel like a right numpty if HD-DVD loses the 'war'.

stay with Blu-Ray, its looking worse and worse for HD-DVD (in my eyes, and many other peoples, its lost already). Besides, all the ads for new films mostly say 'Coming to DVD and Blu-Ray', so its almost a cert really.

Re: shall i stll buy HD-DVD?

If you have a PS3 then no, it would only be a waste of money as you already have a high def DVD player (Blu-ray) on your PS3.

HD-DVD is losing the format lost, alot say it's already lost and I find myself agreeing. It would be wise to stick to your PS3 and wait for the standalone Blu-ray players to come down in price like I'm doing.

You will just be wasting your money its defiantly not worth it. Its all going blu-rays way so you will just be putting your money into a format which will probably be pulled from the shelves in the distant future. Shops have already stopped selling HD DVD and as an owner of a HD DVD player I can tell you without bias that you should stay with blu-ray if you have a ps3!
