I'm very sorry to hear about your dog, when any animal goes, it's absolutely gutt-wretching!

We're really cat people this end & one of our boys 'sootie' recently fell over on his side, once in the living room, once upstairs in the small front bedroom & then finally the next day outside in the garden on the patio. We rushed him to the vet, she said there was a faint heart beat, but she could tell from it, he was about to die!

I cremated him in the back garden & we sprinkled his ashes on the roses! We've had cats & dogs as pets in our family, they are so very, very special. The love you get from a cat is different from a dog, not less than - just different, but just as special!

As a tribute to your dog, here's the ending from a very famous film with a certain very famous actor & his Jack Russell!

Listen to Hans Zimmer's wonderful soundtrack & have a good cry mate - then in the morning go out & get yourself another Jack Russell puppy and start all over again!

I think that's pretty disrespectful to expect someone to just buy a new dog, pretend it never happened and just 'replace' a member of the family.
