Export contents to system software.

Hi,
I would like to export some downloaded contents (such as *.mp3 or *.mp4 file)  to
system software application (Music or Video).

Are there any ways ( or plans ) for that?

Re: Export contents to system software.

Do you mean downloaded content from native games or files you downloaded into your PSS application?

Re: Export contents to system software.

I think he is talking about saving from his PSS app to the system's storage, to make music and video (and for completeness sake pictures) available to the native environment.

And yes, I think that should be added, but for now it's not possible as far as I know.

Re: Export contents to system software.

It is possible but tricky :smileyhappy:

We would recommend to pass the data (video or photo) to the webbrowser via System.Shell and use the webbrowser to save it correctly either via a website you setup before or local running webcode if the adressline of the webbrowser doesnt stop you because of a limit.

Re: Export contents to system software.

I doubt the webbrowser can access local app folders, so you'd have to upload whatever you want to copy first to then have it downloaded again.... not exactely what I'd call a "working solution"....

However, if the browser COULD access local app's /Document folders (and this access not being blocked/fixed in future updates) it would be something worth looking into....

TeamICE1, TheHellcat,

Thank you for your replying:Smile:. And I apologise that I didn't write my request correctly.
I assumed like a RSS reader application. And when the feed has a enclosed mp3 or mp4 data,
I'll download and export it to the native environment ( and playback by Music or Video application. ).

I see. I think it might work, but I don't want to launch webbrowser for downloading data if possible.
