After you push the code to the public github account, ill have a look through what youve done and figure out whats missing.  Im very interested in getting at least the 2D subset of xna running in PSS, as my business plan calls for it! Im more than happy to do that work if your unable to finish it now.

Hi Cubed2d,

  I had some time this afternoon so have moved what I had. If you fork my public repo https://github.com/CartBlanche/MonoGame and switch to the develop3d branch - https://github.com/CartBlanche/MonoGame/tree/develop3d - you'll see files and directories for the first pass at the PlayStation Suite stuff. Be aware Lidgren compiles, but the MonoGame for PSSuite does not compile yet. Plan was to get it running there, before I send a pull request to include it in the main mono/MonoGame repo.

Fantastic. Ill pull it over the weekend. once i have a rough idea of the ammount of work involved ill see if i can commit to getting this done :smileyhappy:

Hi,

Is there any update on the status of getting MonoGame to work with the PSS ?

I am actually interested in what is the actual work needed to be done, since i am actually in the situation where i need to be doing the same work myself.

All (or most) of the XNA basic types (Vector3, Color, etc) are already ported, where are the actual parts that need to be worked on?

BTW i will also like to join in, if possible, to help with this project.

I'm doing a bit of work on it today in my fork:

Still doesn't build (closer though I think!)

GamePad and Accelerometer should be implemented, but since it still doesn't build I can't test :-)

 

I know totally nothing about shaders etc, so there are plenty of errors around that stuff still.

Im working on getting it to build right now. Ive fixed all the using related build errors, and now im in to missing type errors. Ill push what ive got done to my github account tomorrow.

Sorry gents, I've been a little snowed under. I pulled in Danzel's pull request, so cubed2d, you may have to fetch upstream to make sure you have his changes before you send your pull request, or they will be conflicts.

Hi liortal,

  You essentially need a github account, then fork my repo, as mentioned a few posts up and then liase between us.

I'm SoftSavage on twitter, or if anyone jumps onto the MonoGame IRC channel ( where most of the MonoGame devs exchange ideas and ask questions ) found on irc.gnome.org or irc.gimp.net, I'm dlouis on there.
