What exactly went wrong?

In order to run the demos on your vita, you will need to launch them using PSStudio.

You can see details of running on your Vita in this guide.

Hi

Please could you follow these steps and let us know how you get on?

1. On your PS Vita, make sure that there is a network connection (Wifi or 3G)

2. Open the "PSS Development Assistant" application on the PS Vita (you can download it from here: http://playstation.com/pss/developer/openbeta/index_e.html )

3. Make sure that it is able to verify its license

4. In PSS Studio, go to Run > Run With > PS Vita (xxx)

5. The application should load onto the device (given a couple of seconds)

i am really new to this stuff and i am trying to play the demos also but when i go to run and run with idont see anything also i cant even press the run button its just gray and the letters arent black

It sounds like you didn't open the files correctly in PsmStudio.  Make sure you open either a solution or project file, then the play icon should be enabled ( or hit f5 ).

Just to add when you install the SDK all the core sdk files and libraries are installed on your C drive under program files whereas the samples are installed in your My Documents folder under "PSM".

C>users>public>public documents>PSM>sample.
