We have been asking for a wiki for awhile now, and being that the SDK was in closed beta and we had all agreed to a NDA we couldnt create a public wiki for ourselves. However now that we are in open beta I have decided to take the innitiative to start a wiki in hopes that we can have a central place of information to explain the API with sample code for new comers and vets. This way we can all make the development process as simple as possible and create great products for the fans of of ours and Sonys products.![]()

Personally I think the documentation provided is pretty detailed. The bundled samples were also enough for me to get me going with the SDK last year and I quickly ported my game Positron over to my Xperia Play.
I would perhaps start with getting some of the samples up on the wiki but have more detailed explainations as to which sections of the code are doing what.

The EULA has changed in that its specifically states now that you can provide our work to 3rd parties for the purposes of development and promotion of Playstation Suite. (i dont remember the EULA having that before so thats new I assume).
The wiki will contain only explanations of the different classes and examples on how to use them rather than exposing the source code. I dont see in anyway how the wiki would ever personally harm Sony if it becomes a tool used to spark interest in Playstation Suite.
Things I imagine you not being allowed to do are things like use a program to decompile the .dlls back into source code and then share THAT code with people. I can only imagine Sony being concerned with ways people will try to find a way to break playstation suite to allow piracy, rather than knowing how to use the software.
If Sony has a problem with me doing this though, just let me know. Ive been very cooperative with the devs here, and im sure they understand the reasons why I feel a wiki is the best way to organize the type of information that will benefit the community.
