PS Development Assistant disconnects the PSV!

I have had the problem of Playstation Suite Development Assistant disconnecting the PSV.

I can only get it to work if I Reinstall the PSS.  I'm thinking it has a problem with the driver?

However, after a couple of times running the sample programs, PSS doesn't recognize the PSV.

Anyone have a fix for this yet?

Re: PS Development Assistant disconnects the PSV!

ok, I think i found a solution if you open pss while the psv Playstation Suite Development Assistant is running.

Re: PS Development Assistant disconnects the PSV!

Hi favi85,

Just to confirm, you are saying that PlayStation Suite Studio does not recognise your PS Vita device when you launch PSS Studio and then run the Development Assistant on the device? But it does when you launch the Dev Assistant before launching the studio?

Thanks in advance.

Re: PS Development Assistant disconnects the PSV!

I have the same problem. With my Vita:

Launch the Development Assistant on Vita, Windows 7:"The sytem PS Vita is disconnected".

Quit or to sleep the Development Assistant on Vita, Windows 7:"The sytem PS Vita is connected"

Please use plain text.

Re: PS Development Assistant disconnects the PSV!

@Visiom, I believe the "PS Vita is disconnected" message is simply because the Content Management Assistant and PS Suit Dev Assistant cannot communicate with the PC at the same time.

Do you see the same problems, in that you cannot see the the PS Vita in the device list without restarting PSS Studio?

Re: PS Development Assistant disconnects the PSV!

yes.  there is a specific sequence i have found.

if the vita is not being read by PSS while PSDA is running:

leave the vita connected and just restart PSS.

The sequence I have to use is first start PSDA and then open PSS in order for it to work.

UNDERSTAND!  that the CPU will not recognize the vita, however PSS will still recognize it.

Please use plain text.
