A voi i "grandi voti": CLICKAMI

Che ca.gata!!

"Operation Raccoon City"

Alright so I couldn't wait for RE:smileysurprised:RC so when it came I got the Special Edition in a heart beat. Now this game packs a HUGE punch of action. Its fun, and you do get to strategize a bit (only with the selected characters) the gameplay mostly consists of right now action.
You find yourself part of a team of the USS (Umbrella Security Service) who is destroying ANYTHING that leads up to Umbrella's downfall (aka the Raccoon City crisis) The game in itself IS an RE survival game, many of you may not agree but let me break it down for you:

Controls: 10/10
The controls are AMAZING, slant six and capcom really did a number on the controls. Everything is easily accessible and I got used to them rather quick. The only thing I had trouble with is the quick draw which is when you hold the L2 button (left trigger xbox) sometime when I tap to change to the pistol, my character does the quick draw instead.

Graphics: 7/10
My philosophy is graphics isn't everything, though it does make the game more enjoyable with good looking graphics. The graphics in RE:smileysurprised:RC aren't terrible but they're not great either. When you first meet up with Hunk he's stiff like a robot!

Storyline: 6.5/10
I haven't beaten the game yet, but I can tell you its short. Their are 6 levels in all, and the time to each level increases, but I feel that isn't good enough. You do objectives to hide umbrella's association with t-virus, and that's it. Its a one track storyline which makes the game, like I said above, short.

Gameplay: 9.5/10
NOW the fun part. YOU are the main protagonists of RE2 and 3! What isn't to like about that?! You go around shooting zombies, B.O.W's, mercenaries, and the USSF. Capcom made a good decision to giving you 6 playable characters, each with their own set of special abilities and classes. It's not one those, "This is who you play as so play like we intended it to be!" Nope, you choose your character and CUSTOMIZE their loadouts, be it weapons or what kind of abilities they use in the level. Each characters abilities are different, all 6 have 2 passive abilities, which stay on all the time, and 3 active abilities. You can only choose one of the three active abilities, but that's what makes the strategy in the game fun. You have a large array of weapons consisting of: Assault Rifles, Machine Guns, Sniper Rifles, SMG's, Shotguns, Pistols, and Special. All of the guns have different attributes and none of them are over powered.

Lets talk about the survival. One of the main parts to this game is the survivability, you choose your weapons, and abilities BUT that's all you get. Ammo is very scarce to the point to where I find myself taking the recently killed USSF's weapon to use instead. Their are points in the levels where you can regroup, heal, take ammo and relay intel to gain xp. But after that point your on your own again. Capcom incorporated a new mechanic that I've been wanting! INFECTION, yes you CAN get infected! If your facing zombies and you get bit, scratched or thrown up on, you have a chance of catching the T-Virus. Your health slowly dwindles while your infected and when it depletes you turn into a mindless zombie and attack your friends. Another great thing about infection is bleeding. You can get damaged so much that you'll start to bleed and attract a MULTITUDE of zombies! That also goes for the cpu's.

Now for the bad part of the gameplay :/

DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME ALONE! Unless if you want to throw a temper tantrum, you should play it with friends or some random person. The AI on your team sucks. The CPU's do not take up their role as they should, I rarely get healed by the medic and in some cases where it'd be nice to have backup the cpu's are usually attacking thin air! The enemy AI isn't as dumb, which makes the cpu have an unfair advantage. My biggest complaint about the CPU is their use of the CQC(close quarters combat) its fine that they do it when you get close, but once you get hit they keep going until your health is in the yellow (possibly red and/or death!) So while we're bleeding to death the cpu medic won't take to your needs.

Replay Value: 10/10
Their are multitudes of collectibles and so much more in this game to find!

Overall: 8.5/10
This game is great to the average RE fan who has a lot of friends to play with online. Yes it is very different but you have to change in order to keep going. Their things I skipped like the phenomenal soundtrack and the amazing lighting. The game does keep the creepiness alive and its great to revisit raccoon city in a different perspective.
