I'm not convinced but then I have lost interest in game adaptions in it's entirety so I'm hardly singling out GOW here. A film would immediately be lesser than the original medium simply for the fact it's leaving out the main element that of the game, interactivity. Like Uncharted, part of it's appeal is being so apart of the action. What's the use in just making it another action film, it loses it's unique power to draw you in. GOW would be the same.
