A small question

Hi there, I never played God of war before, so I though why not buy it now... wich I did, I "ordered" God of war 3 yesterday but I was wondering whether or not it would be such a good idea to have not played part 1 and 2 before playing party3. In other words, is the story still understandable if I start with part 3 (since I'm not that fond of buying part 1 and 2 aswell)

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies :smileyhappy:

Re: A small question

Tbh you should play 1 and 2. You could watch the story on YouTube but you can your head around it more if you play, the first two. Not only that 1 and 2 are fantastic games

yeah I have been thinking about buying it, but I'm just not sure about it (since they are ps2 games mainly, even though they were amongst the best of games released on the ps2) I've also watched the whole story on youtube (of course not everything was included in it but still)...

on a sidenote though, I've finished playing through GOW3 and woow I was impressed, it was awesome. The story, the puzzles, the fighting, the action adventure I really loved it! Can't wait for ascension to be released.

Re: A small question

If you love God of War 3 as much as I did you may find yourself going back and playing the first two whether you had planned to or not. And Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta.  :smileytongue:

Remember that you can buy 1 and 2 in a bundle for PS3. Two great games for the price of one. And the price is fairly dropped now at this stage. COO and GOS are together in another bundle.

Hey,

I decided not to buy part one and two, the main reason is that I recently (few weeks ago) saw the Darksiders 2 trailer and I really loved the looks of it so I bought DS1 which I finished yesterday and it was just so epic and awesome so I also pre-ordered the collector's edition of DS2... and tbh I think I liked Darksiders just a bit more in a couple of ways, it also had a significantly longer camaigne so I kinda... you could almost say forgot about GOW even though I really really enjoyed gow3 aswell (great story too)

I'll most likely still buy GOW ascension though :smileyhappy:
