This was one of the big reasons I had this edition pre ordered, I did ask and so did many others on the PS blog about why its not included anymore but they never bothered to reply. Considering the price I think its unwise to start removing value.
Thankfully I got the HD Collection for £25 new (I was going to sell this on to get the Trilogy Edition) and I can get the standard GOW3 for about the same price so I guess I can put the money saved toward WKC.
I'm lucky enough to be able to buy any game I want, but I always get the best price and when collectors editions start removing things they get bumped for the standard and often much cheaper versions.
This is just to give people a heads up.
Here's the original list of contents for this edition:
Heres the link to the new updated list of content.

I just wanted to give people who like me are/were going to get it a heads up.
As this bit of content was actually looking really good. I mean who doesn't want to see a documentary all about Kratos that's hosted by the guy who played Robocop and then SCEE remove it for some reason.
I did ask on the PS blog about it, but no one replied. I have a feeling SCEE are going to put this up on PSN as pay for content on its own.

Was looking as forward to that as any other bit tbh ![]()

Same here. It was a big reason I had the Trilogy Edition pre ordered. It looked really good, check out Gametrailers for a clip of the documentary, but if content like this gets removed and the price is still the same then its just not worth it getting anymore.

I wouldnt mind if they bought the collectors eddition price down to 70 or 80 notes or so..
As it happens i ordered GOW Collection (just cuz i wanna see what the remastered versions are like) for just over £30 notes on ebay from a uk seller.. and preordered the game...

I think they should bring the price down after removing big content like the documentary, but I doubt they will.
I got the HD collection for £25 and its still sealed, because I thought I would sell it on for the Trilogy Edition, but now that my pre order is cancelled and replaced with the cheaper GOW3 standard game. I think its time to open up the HD Collection and take a look.

Looks like the content is still there, it's just not 'exclusive' to the 'Trilogy Edition' or whatever:

They've got the 'Combat Arena' under there as well, as posted above on that list, so it looks like the standard version gets that too.
Regardless, I'm glad the documentary stuff is shipping with the standard version though, always enjoy watching the developer documentaries and such; been watching the GoW1 & 2 ones that come with the GoW:Collection recently.
