Got the message about 10:45am today. I ordered in early Febuary!! Man I'm soo gutted! That's my chance of ever owning it gone!

If your happy with an imported version, then you can get an American version for not much more than you was spending with coolshop.
Then just get the collection version from a uk seller and then you have the ultimate edition, with all three games and the documentry dvd.
And coolshop are bad for leaving untill three days before relase to let you know, they should have known sooner that they couldn't fullfil the pre-orders taken.

Thanks for the advice mate. But I was after the real PAL edition. Its kinda tacked on that way. I'm a big collector of PAL games, and this was something I was gonna hold high in my collection.
For me it's all or nothing I'm afraid. I haven't played the first two yet so won't be getting the 3rd at all now unless I get a copy of the ultimate edition, which I won't.

I know exactly what you mean with regards to collectors editions, i am the same, maybe a little bit more ***** about my collections than most.
This really is one of the best collecters sets i have seen, i can only advise to just keep checking sites like ebay, because although the price might be high now that could drop in a few weeks/months as the hype dies down and people forget about this game, it won't be as popular or sought after, i mean i paid £150.00 for my Tekken 6 with arcade stick, its now only £80.00, thats £70.00 less than what i paid, granted i know this has more copies than god of war, but you never what could happen.
Oh and your user name is bloody funny, made me chuckle when i read it.

Yeh that's all I can do now I guess. I remember the demand for the street fighter tournament fightsticks, couldn't get one at the time but got one for £40 cheaper on ebay a month later.

Martin: No, I can't direct you to any other place. We advertised the item because the stock was confirmed, if not, it wouldn't have been on the website. Though, sadly, we couldn't get the item as promised by the supplier

Hairyearlobe: I did indeed, but it doesn't explain in detail the reasons for it. What information was you given by your supplier? I'm sure you understand I would appreciate as much information about this as possible. I am without an item that I can't purchase anywhere else because a 'promise' was broken?
Martin: The E-mail states what the reason was. "due to a stock shortage"
Martin: That is what we are told by our supplier. We have tried to get these from another source, but with no luck sadly
Hairyearlobe: May I ask, when were you notified by your original supplier about this? You say you had been trying to get this from another source? So that would mean I had an item ordered that you didn't know I'd receive for a certain time?

Martin: We mailed to all our customers when it was clear that we had no other options, this was brought to our attention yesterday
Hairyearlobe: Thankyou for your feedback. I must admit I am dumbfounded as to why someone can promise stock and then not supply it? I feel very short-changed that this is the result of an item I was eagerly anticipating, only to not have it at all.

There is alos one last piece of advise i can give to you, check game everyday, there is a very big chance that they will re-list this item, it happened on HMV with heavy rain, all gone before the release, but the day after they had it back up their website.
Not everyone who has this pre-ordered will be able to pay, or will still want the game so Game will have cancelations on some of these pre-orders, check the GAME website regualary to see if it has been re-listed, but be warned these will go very very quickly, don't spend the money on something else just yet because all is not lost.

Cheers for the advice my friend. I have been checking every single day since they were sold out, with no luck as yet. But yeh I'm with you on people cancelling a few, fingers crossed!!
