Actually chaos mode is much more challenging, the scorpion is much more harder to kill there..But very hard difficulty in god of war 1 & 2 is much more challenging than chaos mode of god of war 3 in my opinion.Because it took me a long time to finish protecting kratos family in GOW 1 & the translator in GOW 2 in very hard mode.
