Hey Guys/Girls,

Who here is interested in setting up an Australian GT5 Racing Team. Now everyones input is needed to get this team running and i need to know who would be interested in being part of the team. It doesnt matter how good or bad you are at racing, this team will cater for all skill levels.

We would hold weekly races against other teams on GT5 and have time trial practice sessions to get our times as low as possible. Eg. Sunday nights could be the Sunday Cup where a list of tracks are voted on through the week and then the Cup is set up on Sunday night. Also we can have the practice sessions on Saturday where we all race the same track to better our times. We could have online leader boards so that we can see who is fastest and try to beat each others times. Hopefully GT5 lets us have clan names so that we can display a tag. There is also a possibility of a LAN each month where we can set up our PS3's and TV's in a house or hall and race over a couple of days.

First things first though... We need a name. Post up sugestions to get this ball rolling.

The official name for our GT5 team has been chosen and also the team site has been finished over the week and is now up and running. Who ever wants to be a part of our team please head over to the Team OzGT headquarters and sign up for the team. I would be interested later when the game is released also. I havent had any experience on the new GT games. How does GT5 compare to the previous ones? Drive wise and such I mean.

Sounds like a good idea. I have a small forum, TORC Talk, which is also based around GT which I started in 2000 after I launched the racing series call Total Ozzie Racing Challenge, based on GT1. It has now been running for 15 seasons.

Currently we try to race online twice a week...

SAR (Sunday afternoon racing)

MNR (Monday night racing)

The forums are a little quiet at the moment, but with the release of GT on PSP next month & GT5 in December, it will really get moving. If any of you fellas want to join up and join us, it would be great to see some new faces.

Hey Stickman, maybe when GT5 get released we can arrange some kind of competition, Team OzGT v TORC Talk?

And of course the PSP! They've started an official GT PSP Time Trial over on the EU boards (buggers beat me to it!).

Not yet, only a few of us have it so far. I might do something after xmas
