I am fuming.

I do not need to comment on what a fantastic game GT5 is, after sinking hours into it, got my IA licence, LVL 14 in A, 50+ cars  4 bronze the rest silver and gold.

All trophies under my id profile will prove it ive done it.

Now I thought I would go online, test my new fibre internet and host a game.  It is not the first time I have played online tho.  WHAT AN ERROR that was!

Basically the game froze, no XMB access whilst "connecting to server".  GUESS WHAT, reboot!

MY SAVE GAME IS CORRUPTED.

Tried recover under options nothing to recover.  Goto GT mode - Forced to setup again.

ALL GONE

I made a racing cockpit for this game http://www.insecurity.co.uk/pics/pics/cockpit/DIY/ . I just dragged it out the house and pushed it into the backgarden.

I am sick, litterally.  I want to cry.  I bought the signature edition and now I want to burn it.  I know it will pass but seriously.

Such a shame, can I trust it not to happen again, yes I know backup etc.  Advice to all is play offline until they patch the hanging issue online as advised in case you have got further than me.

Thats bad dude. i would be gutted if that happened to me. not had a race yet online so i hold off for the time being.

Sorry to ***** on your already bad day, but GT5 saves are copyright locked, so you can't back them up either

See the information is all online I expect.  I dont seem to be able to force a sync.  I cannot confirm that it still says my real stats under my profile as the ps3 is off (anger still rampant).

I am a life long fan of GT and I doubt this will kill it off.

I am hoping an official can confirm or eliminate a sync to get my stats back before I replay the game at all.

Now that is shocking.  Is that 100% ?

Can back them up only if you do a full back of the PS3 system, individual save backups won't work

It would be cheaper to make it yourself if you already have tools.  wood and screws are like 40 quid from b and q.

Do you mean 100% confirmed? If so, yeah. There's a petition going on to have it removed somewhere on the forums.

Does that include everything on the PS3 system? If it's just saves and stuff that's cool, but i'll never find enough space for the amount of data on my PS3 at the moment :/
