So I'm playing GT5, and it's approaching midnight - It's my birthday in a few minutes. At about a minute past midnight, I get an in-game message wishing me happy birthday, and that I have received a gift, which will be a car from the year I was born.

Wow, I thought - That's a neat little feature - I'll go to the delivery truck and see what I get. There's a ticket and I use it now.

Now I was born in 1966, and guess what rolls out of the truck? - A beautiful Jaguar XJ13 - Worth 20,000,000 credits, making it most expensive in-game car (along with the Ford Mk IV, and the Ferrarri 330 P4).

So a big thanks to GT5, and Polyphony - you made my birthday a little bit more special!!

You lucky so and so. My bday was on Friday (26th) and all I got was a 1982 Audi Quattro worth diddly squat. Very cool feature though.

My birthday was last night and the same thing happened to me.  Some hunk of junk I think.  I never did check the value.

That's pretty cool, shame I have to wait until June for mine but just skimming through the car list the only 84 model I found is a Ford RS200, so I think I can wait for that! lol

That is an awesome suprise,and definately an awesome little feature that i havent personally heard of from any other game.

Guess its quite lucky with the car you get. And you definately were VERY, VERY lucky

Im sure almost every year there is a special, expensive, rare or at least prestige concept car produced somewhere in the world - but i bet on my b/day i would get some old 80's tissue box of a car   =P
