Bring back Grid Starts!! Grid Starts are the best way to start a race. Get rid of the single file rolling start. A-Spec, Seasonal Events and Remote races all should be Grid Start or Double File rolling start. The single file rolling start is a joke and ruins the skill and fun of the first corner.

I wanted to create a thread to try and gain support and try to persuade GT to change it back. What are your thoughts?

Why not keep them both?,

Keep the rolling starts for those challenges where you have to come 1st within a certain time.

I couldn't aggree more!

I find the "Rolling start" to be about the most hatefull thing about GT5, that and the fact that it took PD the best part of a Year to give us proper Logitech G27 support. (**Yeah I know that GT5 supports it now**!)

I think they should make it an Option in the same way that you can pick your Tires, Track conditions, ABS, Stablitity Management et-al before starting your Race / Practice run.

Yeah! Bring back grid starts. Getting a high powered motor off the line, on a wet track, with hard compound rubber fitted, without spinning up, is a lot harder than a, 'no skill' rolling start.
