Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem (and if you were able to solve). I can see the Nissan Leaf under "gifts", I click on it and of course say yes to "add to items" but then nothing happens. I tried looking under items, car delivery etc. but it simply isn't moving from that "gifts" page. I aslo tried "recieve all" too, but again the same problem. It is non-responsive; the closest I've got is it thinks about it for a few seconds and then nothing.

The only thought that has occured to me as I type this is, should I delete some other items such as "paint" to free up space? Any ideas would be most welcome.

Oh and before you ask, I cleared all GT academy events with gold and still have GT academy installed on my Playstation. I even started it up just to jog it's memory or something but it tells you it has finished and to quit the application

The number of accessories that you have has no relation on the 2,000 car limit. Are you at the car limit?

Does clearing GT5's cache affect your problem?

i have found that if someone sends you another gift, paint helmet or whatever you can recieve all as somehow this rectifies the problem, it has happened to me in the past.

Do gift tickets count as accessories? If they do this could effect receiving the ticket to get the car.

However I've also heard about the stuck gift problem and this is more likely to be the cause than the 7,000 limit.

Yes, I too was a victim of gifts that I could not receive.

Unfortunately, I really don't know what unstuck the system.

One day, it just worked again.

Try having a friend send another car gift and try to receive it.

Well i havn't had the exact same problem but i did have a problem with the leaf gift. It appeared under gifts. I accepted it and it said sucessful or whatever the message is. Then when i went back to the main GTworld screen the car delivery had no red number 1 on it so i thought i didn't get it. When i clicked on car delivery the car was there though and i got it. I've never sent or recieved gift cars myself.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I only have 400 cars so I am not at the limit. I deleted a load of paint, but that made no difference.

I shall clear the cache and request a friend to send me a gift - I''ll update if it works or not.

i know when i got mine i clicked on accept gift then went to the truck but their was nothing showing to say it was in the truck, anyway i just selected the truck and the leaf was delivered.

Keep on trying the normal way of accepting gifts and see if it triggers getting it.

Also, go to GT5/Options/Utilities and select Salvage Files, then OK.

Does this resolve your issue?
