Thank you for all your suggestions MastrGT. Unfortunately my only online friend who still plays GT5 hasn't responded to my request to send me a gift and none of the other suggestions have worked thus far.

I have defintely checked my delivery truck icon and the leaf is not there. Even having won the SP1 (which was delivered to my garage no problem) from the Formula 1 events hasn't triggered it into working.

I guess there is no rush, so I'll wait and see if when the next GT academy car arrives it all works again. Thank you for all your help.

When i received my GT Academy car ticket from gifts i had to quit back to the start screen and then click on the Downloadable Content icon and my car was there, have you tried that?

Pleased to say the issue has been resolved. 'whose_online' sent me a paint item and after clicking 'receive all' the Nissan Leaf appeared in the car delivery.
