but again not one of you boys have mentioned your real life experiance but you all know exactly how a car should handle. right?

Lion-face, what the hell are you on? you don't think its posible to drive though the countryside just as fast as you can on a track, if you live in an area like that you can drive the roads over and over until you know every corner like the back of your hand and you really get to now your car too. I did it for years on dirt and tarmac roads, it was freakin great! I know a lot of countryside roads with some great corners with heaps of nice run off so you can push as hard as you like and not kill your self and they are perfect for seeing exactly what you and your car can (and can not! LOL) do. 

a funny thing that any one who has driver on a race track at full pace will tell you is just how slow it feels because when you first start you think you can go at the speed of light.

Ive been waiting for GT5 as long as you guys and when I got prologue I thought even though its still not spot on it will be better when the real one comes out, but when I got time trial I was disappointed to say the least, it is good I know that, but see here's the thing, Polyphony has spent a lot of money on 5 and I would say probably more than all the other sims put together ,Race 07, GTR2, Live for Speed, rFactor and Richard Burns Rally IMO, GT5 Has better graphics than any other PS3 game of any kind, it has more cars than any other game, more tracks than any other and soon it will have some sort of 3D as well and all this takes a hell of a lot of time and money.

it would definitely be the most complete all round racer out there, I was just hoping the sim mode would be better. 

So boys I'm ready for your next round of taunts.

My gang? What have you been smoking? I don't recruit people to yell at newbies. Heck, I don't really enjoy yelling at newbies. Unfortunately for me, we rarely get any newbs here that have a good knowledge on how forums work in the first place.

IPityDaFoolYou is the resident Xbox fanboy, and always shoots down PS exclusives at any chance he gets. 'Get what you give' is how the saying goes right?

As for taunts, I'm not trying to start an all out flame war. This is Youtube or something along those lines. Like I said before though, no sim is spot on. Not even all of the examples you've given. I defend GT for the games 'soul' as such. I doubt any of the other sim games feel as 'personal' as GT. I doubt any other simulator will ever feel as good as this one.

Please drive RBR, PLEASE, it is my heaven! if you can handle it you will love it! NOTHING feels like it and yes it feels like it is part of your soul when you get it right, its a ps2 game (or PC) so the graphics are quite weak these days but if you get it right you wont care. 

and no! I know nothing of how forums work, sorry.

theres nothing 'personal' about GT. all GT games have felt sterile, 'soul-less' if you will. the cars behave unrealistically and boring, and the tracks pretty are lifeless. the games are basically just running adverts for cars, showing how cool the cars look and how shiny they are.

like i said, ive driven a fair few of the performance cars in GT games - unlike most of you i assume - and GT is so far off the mark in regards to how they perform its not even funny. what car do you drive? what cars have you driven extensively?

fun fact - every GT game since the original GT is sitting at a lower score on metacritic than the previous game.

Fool and bounce, you know what gets me the most about people like you, is that you feel the need to project your views, onto people who don't care. I love Gran Turismo, ever since the beginning, you guys obviously don't and that's fine, but why should someone like me who does care? You say Gran Turismo is inpersonal and soulless, I see the amount of love and attention to detail, and very much a soul but I don't expect to change your mind, why do you expect to change ours?

I don't go around sharing my opinion on Forza, because I don't feel I need to, I have no interest in it or owning it, why can't you guys just be the same with what you don't care about, and talk about what you do care for.

People like use like driving simulators that feel real, even if they dont look perfect and shiny like GT.

if you go to any of the real sim sites you will not find any people talking about how unrealistic they are or long heated discussions like the ones that have ALWAYS gone on about GT, they mostly talk about setups favorite cars and track etc etc, they dont feel the need to convince each other that it feels real,

most people like use start by just expressing our frustration at GT physics and are completely shot down by GT fan boys with massive sarcasm and comments like "go drive an arcade game if you cant handle it noob" 

but when ever any of us (usualy older guys with real life driving experiance) reply to your sarcasm and "advice" you start to cry like little babies, leave us alone, stop it stop it.

this forum like any other is for people to express their opinion and for you to tell people to just talk about what you like and not to say anything bad about GT proves that you are a really pathetic child and just want to live in you little fantasy world with pixies, faries and GT!

You are a true failure who just cant handle the truth, if your going to be such a little whining looser then dont read peoples criticisms! no game of any kind ever gets better without criticisms and thats a fact!

Polyphony NEED'S criticism to improve the game. nothing in this world improves if people just say how much they love it.

And buy the way, I said I liked GT in my very first post! you obviously just read what you want to read and dismiss the rest, if this tread is too much for you then maybe you should go do something else or maybe just ask you mum and dad to read your replies before you post so you dont sound so dumb!
