I've just had to redo the Dreamcar chamionship after I got too drunk to win it over Christmas and just got the silver.

I did the first race and everything was fine

Then the second race at Monza was a wet weather race

I was ahead after the first lap and expected to be 5 -6 seconds in front, then the timer came up and said 35 seconds in front, which shocked me.

I thought the computer cars had had a crash and held themselves up, so I jsut carried on and won the second race.

The third race came around and I was only narrowly in front at the end of the first lap, when to my surprise all the other cars went into the pits.

They did this on 4 out of the 5 races?!?!?

Anyone else had this happen?

I won the championship obviously

Its due to the AI not changing the opponents tyres between races. Not had it happen myself though.

also note that due to the number of tight S bends at Monza, and the fact that the AI have and IQ of 3. They all get bunched up.

Ive noticed it a few times on different tracks at 'tight' spots, S bend at Cote D'azur, The last corner at Monaco as well.

What do you mean 'bunched up' exactly?

Yep same happened to me was in last place on 1st lap on wet tyres then wondered after the start/finish straight I was suddenly in the lead, then worked out they had pitted to change tyres from previous race.......phew!!!!
